WHO IS JASON HUGHES?

I’m a lifelong resident of New Orleans East. I grew up in Kenilworth, went to Osborne Elementary, and I still live in Kenilworth today. What frustrates you, frustrates me too.
You may not know me personally but if you live in the Lower 9 or New Orleans East, you’ve already been impacted by my work.

Jason Hughes has spent his life fighting for New Orleans East and the Lower Ninth Ward - delivering results, building coalitions, and standing up for the people he serves. From the State Capitol to our neighborhoods, Jason has championed better schools, safer streets, stronger small businesses, and opportunities for every family. Now, he’s ready to bring his proven leadership home to City Hall.
